Dr. Eviatar is a member of the ALPHA Group of physicians chosen by BioForm Medical to conduct a pilot study for the Relaxed Expressions system. This radio frequency treatment allows physicians to reduce nerve function to eliminate furrows.

We are in the process of compiling data based on Chelsea Eye patients for an abstract to be presented at the American Academy of Ophthalmolgy Meeting in November, 2009, to prove the efficacy of LASIK surgery in HIV+ patients.

Dr. Eviatar is now a principal investigator in an on-going FDA study to gain approval for the use of SCULPTRA in the treatment of HIV-related facial lypoatrophy.

Chelsea Eye is an investigational site for a study to determine the efficacy of using BioGlue adhesive to fix the brow when performing endoscopic and transblepharoplasty brow lifts.

Dr. Scarpidis is investigating the effects of laser lipolysis (Smartlipo™) on HIV-related lipodystophy in the neck and back.
